Huomaa lisäksi oikeinkirjoitusmuutokset seuraavissa sanoissa: five - the fifth ; eight - the eighth [yksi 't' tippuu pois; huomaa myös THE-ARTIKKELIN ÄÄNTÄMINEN VOKAALIN EDESSÄ: [ði] - EI: [ðə]! ] ; nine - the ninth ['e' häviää]; twelve - the twelfth ; twenty - the twentieth ['y' muuttuu 'ie':ksi; samoin käy kaikissa kymmenluvuissa: thirty - the thirtieth , jne. ]
3. Kun luku on yli 20:n: twenty-one - the twenty-first; twenty-two - the twenty-second; twenty-three - the twenty-third; twenty-four - the twenty-fourth, jne
